About Kim E. Douglas
Kim is a senior retirement plan leader with over 20 years of experience designing, governing, and optimizing complex benefit programs for global organizations. She has deep expertise in 401(k), pension, and non-qualified plans, along with strong knowledge of ERISA, IRS, and DOL regulations, and a strategic focus on improving employee financial well-being.
In her last role as Vice President of U.S. Benefits at State Street Corporation, Kim led retirement, health, and welfare programs, advised senior leadership on plan design, fiduciary governance, and compliance, and managed benefits through mergers and acquisitions. Previously, at Reinsurance Group of America, she led global benefits strategy across multiple regions and delivered multimillion-dollar cost savings through program modernization.
Kim is known for translating complex regulatory and financial concepts into clear, actionable strategies. She holds an MBA from Webster University and a BA from Rockhurst University, along with credentials including CEBS, ERISA Compliance, Global Benefits Management, and Prosci Change Management Certification.
